Saints to Host 'Australian Provincial Tournament'

2010 Provincial Championships
Cassandra Sedgman, Wednesday, 9 December 2009

The ABF is pleased to announce that the 2010 Australian Provincial Tournament will be staged in Geelong in April 2010.

Traditionally played over the Easter break, this tournament brings together the cream of Australia’s provincial baseball talent. The tournament is being hosted by the East Belmont Saints Baseball Club utilising the Waurn Ponds Baseball Complex.

The ABF has issued invitations to all Australian States and territories to participate.

Notice is hereby given that the 2009 Annual General Meeting of the East Belmont ‘Saints’ Baseball Club Inc. will be held at the clubrooms Pioneer Park, Pioneer rd Grovedale on Monday 9th November 2009 commencing at 7.30pm.

1. To confirm the minutes of the AGM held on 2nd December 2008.
2. To receive the Presidents report.
3. To receive and accept the Treasurers report.
4. To receive and accept the Canteen report.
5. To elect the President for the 2010 season.

Just to follow on from what Lee said about the Trivia Night the Reverse Raffle was another GREAT night.

Well Done to everyone involved.

There is a lot of hard work that goes on behind the scenes to make these nights successful.

Keep this in mind next time someone asks YOU to help out.

The club jackets will arrive any day now. If you've ordered a jacket and not yet paid for it, i need the money before pick up. Cost is $140 per jacket.

If you didn't order one, get in quickly, there are a couple of extra's but you'll need to be quick.

Congrats to all those who were involved in last nights trivia night that made it such a success. It was in my opinion the best trivia night the club has ever seen (and im not saying that cos i was on the winning team

) with a great turn out and enthusiasm by all that attended.

Well done to Rach, Michelle, Luke, Gez, Jimmy and everyone else who helped out on the night, it was great night for all.

I was cruising on ebay looking at baseball stuff and came across this, its funny what some people will try to sell.
